Now that I am here and settled, I will start classes tomorrow. There were some issues regarding enrolment, esp. the fact that international students get no late payment fee consessions allowing them to sign up for classes while the money is transfering into the states. The campus - grounds as they call it here - is beautiful, plenty of trees and landscaping and old well maintained buildings. I am looking forward to seeing tomorrow what the classes are like and how they rate in comparison to Melbourne. I don't know if they will be at the same level.
Only 6 days till Mark goes home. I don't want him to leave. But I am also looking forward to making my way here and surviving on my own for a while. I look forward to staying in the dorms and meeting people that are in the same college.
I am in the marching band. The game is next saturday, and I am not sure about the marching infront of so many people. I am sure that I will get lost. At least there are 4 rehearsals between here and there. The marching is amazing, looks so complex. People and instruments everywhere. There is so much energy in it. They are excited to have me and love the accent.
It's late here and time for bed.
